Ruveon to Withdraw Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Petitions

July 17, 2026

Decision based on stakeholder feedback and company’s commitment to meet evolving needs of U.S. farmers.

Previously announced farmer customer commitments and new pricing model will not be implemented.

ST. LOUIS, [July 17, 2026] - Ruveon announced today its intent to withdraw its petitions with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission requesting antidumping and countervailing duty investigations into imports of glyphosate-based herbicides from China.

As the sole American glyphosate producer, Ruveon takes very seriously its role in supporting American farmers’ ability to feed, fuel, and clothe the world. Since filing our petitions, we have engaged directly with farmers and agricultural trade associations to hear their perspectives. Today's decision reflects our commitment to putting farmers first and meeting their evolving needs, especially during this challenging farm economy.

As one might expect, the pricing commitments we outlined in our July 1 open letter “To our Customers and a Commitment to Growers” were contingent upon the relief anticipated by action on the petition.

  • Commitment to transparency and pledge to keep the cost of the company’s glyphosate-based products based on the cost of production and we intend to keep prices for our glyphosate-based products in line with our most recent 3-year average*
*Assuming production and energy costs are similar to today.
  • Commitment to supplying the U.S. market to meet the needs of the American farmer.

As a result of withdrawing them, we will continue with our current dynamic pricing approach, based on the price of generic glyphosate products in the market as we have done in the past.

Ruveon will continue to deliver high-quality RoundupTM brands and glyphosate products with its consistent strategy of pricing dynamically versus generic pricing. The company looks forward to serving customers in the U.S. and supporting farmers’ access to essential, domestically produced glyphosate-based solutions.
